GODSENT got off to a great start at DreamHack ZOWIE Open Summer after defeating HellRaisers 16-7 on Cobblestone. The opening round of group matches in Jönköping came to an end with a one-sided match between GODSENT and HellRaisers. The Swedish team proved once again that they are very strong playing at home, with their dominance being apparent right from the start as they got out to a quick 5-0 lead on the Terrorist side. HellRaisers then finally managed to get a round on the board, courtesy of two key AWP frags from Martin "STYKO" Styk, but they were unable to build on that win as GODSENT hit back in the following round despite Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný getting four quick kills to his name.
With HellRaisers unable to keep GODSENT's players at bay, the scoreline bloomed to an 11-1 advantage for the Swedes. After calling a timeout, HellRaisers picked up two rounds in a row, with GODSENT then claiming the final round to take a 12-3 half-time lead. The second half began with HellRaisers winning the pistol round with ease and following it up with two anti-eco rounds. The first gun round also went their way, but then GODSENT pulled back on a force buy thanks to three AWP frags from Andreas "znajder" Lindberg. That win eventually turned into a streak that saw the Swedes win four rounds in a row en route to a convincing 16-7 victory. DreamHack ZOWIE Open Summer 2016Best of 1
